I grew up with only a peripheral understanding of vocaloid. I listened to a few songs on youtube, but I only knew the basics of what vocaloid was and I wasn't too interested. Then I bought Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, and I fell in love! Vocaloid is so unique and fun, and the characters are all wonderfully unique - they're like digital dolls that anyone can use to make their own narrative, and I really like that about them.
