Review: Kamen Rider Kuuga

Reviving a franchise is a difficult task. Following Black RX, Kamen Rider went into a hiatus. Then, in 2000, the Heisei period of Kamen Rider began with Kamen Rider Kuuga. It was the first Kamen Rider show following the death of Shotaro Ishinomori in 1998, so expectations were high. Kuuga serves as an interesting time machine back to the very beginning of Heisei riders, where a new time period was getting its footing - and I think Kuuga did a wonderful job.
